HOME MADE MUG PULAV HEALTHY AND TASTY WITH RECIPE AND VIDEO



 

🌾 Mug Pulav Recipe (Microwave Version)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup basmati rice (soaked for 15-20 mins)

  • 1/4 cup mixed vegetables (like peas, carrots, beans, corn)

  • 1/2 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 small tomato (chopped, optional)

  • 1 green chili (chopped, optional)

  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala or pulav masala

  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 tsp oil or ghee

  • 3/4 cup water

  • Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)


🔥 Method:

  1. Prep the Mug:

    • In a microwave-safe mug, add oil/ghee and cumin seeds.

    • Microwave for 30 seconds to temper.

  2. Sauté Veggies:

    • Add chopped onion, green chili, and tomato (if using).

    • Microwave for 1 minute.

  3. Add Rice & Spices:

    • Drain soaked rice and add it to the mug.

    • Add mixed vegetables, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.

    • Mix well.

  4. Add Water:

    • Pour in 3/4 cup water. Stir gently.

  5. Cook It:

    • Microwave uncovered for 4–6 minutes (depending on your microwave wattage).

    • Let it rest inside the microwave for 2–3 minutes (it will continue to steam).

  6. Garnish & Serve:

    • Fluff gently with a fork, garnish with coriander, and enjoy!
