🌾 Mug Pulav Recipe (Microwave Version)
Ingredients:

1/4 cup basmati rice (soaked for 15-20 mins)

1/4 cup mixed vegetables (like peas, carrots, beans, corn)

1/2 small onion (finely chopped)
-
1 small tomato (chopped, optional)
-
1 green chili (chopped, optional)
-
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
-
1/4 tsp garam masala or pulav masala
-
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
-
Salt to taste
-
1/2 tsp oil or ghee
-
3/4 cup water
-
Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)
🔥 Method:

Prep the Mug:
-
In a microwave-safe mug, add oil/ghee and cumin seeds.

Microwave for 30 seconds to temper.

Sauté Veggies:
-
Add chopped onion, green chili, and tomato (if using).
-
Microwave for 1 minute.
-
Add Rice & Spices:
-
Drain soaked rice and add it to the mug.
-
Add mixed vegetables, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
-
Mix well.

Add Water:
-
Pour in 3/4 cup water. Stir gently.

Cook It:
-
Microwave uncovered for 4–6 minutes (depending on your microwave wattage).

Let it rest inside the microwave for 2–3 minutes (it will continue to steam).

Garnish & Serve:

Fluff gently with a fork, garnish with coriander, and enjoy!
